Am working for a GC sponsoring company and applied for 485 and received EAD, AP etc... Am not willing to move to EAD..can i change the company with a H1B transfer and invoking AC21? Pls give details..

Just file H1B with different company but with same job title and jobe code.
Then ask your attorney to send AC21, it is just a letter with new offer letter.

I applied EAD and AP on 26 June 2008 for me and my wife.

Still waiting for my AP and my wife EAD and AP.
I don't know how there are picking files. We both applied at the same time (E-Filing).
Do I need to call them for information? or Will they have same information that in the website.?

Hi i just checked my 140 online status is shows,
"On August 30, 2007, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly."
But why are they sending it to DOS unless you file for Consular processing?

1) Advanced my engagement date. Tried to arrange an earlier marriage date. Placed everybody involved, my fiancee, her parents, her brothers, my parents and myself under huge pressure. All the bad reputation which I am facing now because of all that.
2) Bad reputation at work for not focusing on the job and the time that I took off from work to fix appointments for medical.
3) Most importantly the frustration and disappointment from this huge mess.
Lessons learned:
1) DO NOT trust USCIS or DOS, they are here not to help us nor make things easier for us.
2) G.C. process is mainly based on luck and not on merit.
3) We Indians have a bad reputation among Americans, for their allegations that we are taking away their jobs.
4) Bottomline, our life in USA is coming to an close. Time to have our bags packed and ready to relocate back to home.

Strangely, everything is done within the scope of law!
:D also the EB2 guys hate the EB3-EB2 conversions as those guys also jumped to a faster line pushing these EB2'ers back...
Hope enough people show up at the DC rally and IV can get the legislators to do something about all these lines so there is no need for line jumping...

Which state you are based in? If you are close to NJ, I know a doctor whoes turn around time was very very quick. You can speak to him in advance and arrange to get everything done quickly. He is very accomodative also. You can PM me if you are interested.

I was hurt for the using bad language by an IV member on a matured immigration forum.
You responded to my post having not read it properly. This is what is called interpretation issue with the language. This is what I wanted to convey.
